What is this?
A communal HTML freewrite. A gathering to learn and write HTML together.
Why?
Why not? HTML is simple and elegant. It is the backbone of the web, and anyone can learn to write and publish it. Most of us interact with it every day.
Who should come?
Anyone who wants to write HTML. Those with no experience are welcome and encouraged to attend.
When?
1:30pm-3pm on August 8, 2026
Where?
Buchanan Park, Lancaster city. Specific location within the park will be added closer to the date.
What to bring?
- Something to write with. Computer or paper and pencil/pen.
- HTML energy
- Friends
- Optionally, a snack to share
